Menu items populated from data page are not localized



The 'Item List' Navigation rule populated from a data page is not localized.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Populate the 'Item List' Navigation rule from a data page.
  2. Provide translations or field values for individual items.
  3. Run the use case.

Root Cause

The Navigation rule was not checked for localization. Additionally, the pxObjClass was not set for the items provided by the data page.


Perform the following local-change:
  1. Check the 'Localize labels, tooltips, and descriptions' checkbox on the Navigation rule.

  2. Set the pxObjClass for individual data page items.

    For items whose pxObjClass is set, the values are fetched from the Field values provided. The Field values created are of 'pyLabel' Field Name.
