Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment.
Resolution
Once we found out this involved HTTPS AND When the rich content is present in the page, IE will show browser warning.:
This seems to be known behavior with IE. The reason for the warning is that you're on an SSL-secured (https protocol) page that is attempting to load non-SSL (http protocol) content.
Something to note is that the dialog does not prompt if you're on an HTTP page and you request HTTPS URL. There are various links available on the internet which talk directgly to this situation, such as the following example search criteria:-
- "Mixed content and Internet Explorer 8.0"
- "Fixing the IE 8 warning – ‘Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?’"
- "Turning off the popup: Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?"
There may be viable local change options which you can consider applying to the browser for testing based on the related articles on the web.
