Multiple Sessions of same user login is creating problems

Summary



Multiple Sessions of same user login creating problems in Pega 7.2 (retaining one session threads in another session). When user have logged in one session and open few interactions. If he logins as the same user in different sessions he could observe that interactions are retained.


Error Messages



Not Applicable


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log into the system.
  2. Work on the interaction.
  3. Log in from another location with the same user id and password.
  4. Observe system is displaying the UI with 1 interaction [or] 1 service item in read only mode along with home tab.


Root Cause



An issue in the custom application code or rules

It is an expected behaviour if HA is enabled in the enviornment.

Resolution



Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

Whe HA is enabled in the enviornment mutiple logins are not supported. If HA is enabled if we login as with mutiple logins it gets the passivated pages and displays them.
