Multiselect Cascading

Summary
The user has configured two dropdowns (FunctionGroup and SubfunctionGroup) on the UI. The SubfunctionGroup dropdown must display the value based on the selection of the first dropdown (that is, FunctionGroup). However, the SubfunctionGroup displays 'No results' though values are present on the Clipboard. This occurs post upgrade to Pega Platform 8.2.5
SubFunctionGroup multiselect or dropdown uses the pagelist as its source.

Steps to Reproduce
- Update Pega Platform 8.2.1 to Pega Platform 8.2.5.
- Source any multiselect with a pagelist.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. In pzGetACData’s Step 4, when the multiselect’s source Clipboard page is converted to a JSON array, there is no allowance for using a pagelist other than .pxResults.
Since a pagelist is used as the source of the second multiselect that is not pxResults, the 'ResultString' variable is empty and results do not display on the UI.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
- Add a pre-activity, onChange to the first multiselect, which only copies the original pagelist to the .pxResults page.
- Save the .pxResults page in the work object Context.
