1. Click Designer Studio > Data Model > Data tables.
2. Look for the option to create a data table.

Root Cause

The explanation for this behavior is as follows:
Data tables have been replaced in Pega 7.1.7 by local data sources.

Resolution

To implement a local data source, complete the following steps:

1. Select a source data class from the data explorer.
2. View the definition by clicking the name. The Create a Local Data Source wizard is under the Sources tab.
