New Users constantly redirected on password reset page



Upon logging in with Security Policies enabled, new users are returned back to the password reset page and are unable to log in to the system.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable security policies.
  2. Create a new user.
  3. Try to have that user log in.

Root Cause

This is the expected behavior if no default access group is selected.


This issue is the expected behavior if you, as an application developer, are not selecting any Access Group for the user/operator that you create. When you create the new user, please ensure to select the radio button for the default access group (at least one) and save it. Now if the user logs in and the 'Change Password' screen is displayed, user should be able to change it successfully.
