Not able to correct the spelling in RTE

Summary

When spell check is clicked, red highlighted line is displayed for the words. On clicking that word to correct it, an HTML code is being opened. Even after the HTML code window is closed, it still shows as loading.

Error Messages

No error message but HTML code is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure a RTE control in a section.
2. Run the use case. Enter misspelled words.
3. Click Spell checker and select the red highlighted text.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

An enhancement to the spellchecker for performance optimization is made which includes another option called "Maximum number of suggestions" in the spellchecker properties data instance. Look under Sysadmin>Spellchecker Properties>en_US. The spellchecker instance must be flushed to pick up this new option. This can be done by resaving the said data instance.

This issue is resolved through the following local-change:

Re-saving the spellchecker properties en_us helps in resolving the problem. Refer to below screenshot
