Not able to edit seedlist in Excel

SA-11148

Summary

Error Messages

Session will not be supported by Excel import manager! Error in method: sUpdateTemplateAll. Object variable or With block variable not set

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Marketing Analyst portal and navigate to Pega->Segmentation ->Seedlist .
  2. Perform an edit of any seedlist instance and click the "Edit in Excel" button to start editing using Excel.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment. Approximately 150 additional columns were added to the external class mapping,
this increased the total number of columns to around 272. The Excel macro cannot handle more than 245 columns and throws the error.

Resolution

Reduce the total number of columns to less than 245 by removing unused properties.
