Null values display as 0 in Excel



Empty values remain empty when results display on running a report with decimal values.

The null values change to 0 on exporting the report to Excel. The null values must remain null.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a report definition
  2. Add Integer property and Decimal property to the report definition
  3. Run the report definition. The Integer and Decimal properties with no values display as blank
  4. Perform Export to Excel. Blank values are replaced by zero

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
