Obj-Browse Where Clause is not getting build correctly

Summary



Obj-Browse Where Clause is not getting build correctly when we pass the null value in the filter condition. The prepared SQL query is missing the where clause in this scenario.

Steps to Reproduce



Put a filter in Obj-Browse which will be a null value.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. 

Any hotfix given for this defect can result in backward compatibility issues. Hence SMW confirmed that a hotfix cannot be given.

Resolution



The List Views and Report Definitions have an option "Use Null if Empty" for the same requirement.
Suggested to use Reports/List Views.
