SA-19747

Steps to Reproduce

1. Upgrade from PRPC 6.1 to PRPC 717 with CPM 7.12.
2. Input a work ID created in PRPC 6.1 in the OOTB Search field present in user portal of PRPC 717.
3. The work object cannot be searched in PRPC 717 user portal.
4. The work object can be searched using OOTB Search in PRPC 717 developer portal.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error is identified as the root cause of the issue. The CPMSetSearchWorkParams activity sets parameters for the work object search. The default functionality of this rule is to set filter for searching the work objects that have been updated in the "Last 90 Days". By default only those work objects falling within this 90 days range can be searched using the search gadget in CPM user portal. If the case we want to find in CPM user portal is outside of that range then search gadget returns no results.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change to resolve the issue:
  1. Override CPMSetSearchWorkParams activity and set the property named "pzWorkLastUpdated" to one of the following values as per the desired range of searching work objects in CPM user portal:
  • Updated Anytime
  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Last 90 Days
