Summary

Operator profile is opened from Operator menu at the top right corner from designer studio or from case manager portal. In the Operator Profile popup, the link against ID cannot be clicked in Chrome, whereas the same link can be clicked in Internet Explorer browser.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch the application.
2. Select Operator profile from Operator menu at the top right corner. The profile opens in a new window.
3. Try opening the ID link in Chrome and in Internet Explorer.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:
Link on operator profile comes from ProfileLinks control. A condition is specifically added to show links that can be clicked only in Internet Explorer. The operator ID was rendered as read only field in non Internet Explorer browsers because of this condition.

Resolution

Apply HFix-27615.
