OutOfMemory during work re-indexing

Summary



When an administrator attempts to re-index work from the Search Landing Page, the process fails with OutOfMemory errors in the PegaRULES logfile.

Steps to Reproduce



Attempt to re-index work from the Search Landing Page.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: Declarative processing was occurring during re-indexing and this was significantly draining memory resources.

Resolution



Apply HFix-35290
