Summary

Password mismatch error while creating account is observed while testing Pega Government Platform 7.2.1 on Pega 7.2.2.
 

Error Messages

Passwords don't match. Try again !

Steps to Reproduce

1. Click on Create account.
2. Enter required details.
3. Enter same password and confirm password.
4. Click on Create Account and error displayed.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. 

Withdrawn the properties ConfirmPassword ( PegaPS-Data-Registration) and ExistingPassword (PegaPS-Work-User-ChangePassword) which are of type password, created the same properties with the type as text and updated the sections which use these properties to the pxObfuscated UI control.

Validation rules are also updated with the new logic to compare passwords.

Apply HFix-29562.
