Summary

Paste option is not available for Rich Text Editor (RTE) with Pega 7.1.6.

Steps to Reproduce

Configure Rich text editor in a section.
In end user portal, when user right click on editor, paste option does not get displayed.

 

Resolution

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior: 

In Pega 7, CKEditor is used for rich text editor. In CKEditor, to get the context menu for paste, one must click on line where it is required to paste.

If one right clicks on other than pointer line, then it will not display the paste option, but it displays the browser right click options.
