PegaSystems CHAT Server

Summary



Per the PegaCHAT 7.1.4 release notes, a CHAT server is now provided by PegaSystems and the Chat server from OpenFire is deprecated.

Root Cause

The Pega Chat 7.1.4 chat server needs to be requested through the Pegasystems account management team.

Resolution



If an on-premise server is deemed best, then the software and documentation will be provided.
If an instance on the Pega Cloud is desired, then the server will be configured and managed by the Cloud support team.
