performFlowAction is not processing the flow action correctly

SA-32994

Summary

While calling performFlowAction to move a work object forward in the flow, the flow action executes, but the work object does not move forward.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Use performFlowAction to move a work object forward in the flow.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules where pyAssignActions was not populated on the newAssignPage associated with the work object when performFlowAction was called.

This resulted in the flow action being executed as a local flow action, rather than a connector flow action.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Perform a call to OpenAndLockWork prior to calling performFlowAction, which will populate the pyAssignActions pagelist for the work object's assignment.
