Summary

On click of configuration icon in a Link Control, the pop up does not show any fields to make the configuration changes.
Only Ok and Cancel buttons are available.

Issue is occurring in IE 8 and also in Chrome(latest version).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the Section rule.
2. Add a link control.
3. Click on the configuration icon of the link control.
4. Observe that no configuration settings are shown to edit.

Root Cause

Cache issue in the deployment. 

Resolution

This issue is resolved after clearing the section rule pzlink_presentationtab from  cache through System Management Application (SMA) by following below steps:

1. Open SMA.
2. Click Advanced link.
3. Click Application assembly cache management.

4. Provide rule name and click on application based assembly cache details.




5. Clear the cache and re-login to the application.
