Problem with RTE Control when changing font colors

Summary
For the Rich text Editor, when user selects a color for first time, the font color and font are saved in DB and when the color is changed to any other, both old and new color values are saved to DB.
Two spans are getting generated for the same element in IE.
Error Messages
Not applicable.
Steps to Reproduce
- Select some text in RTE.
- Change the color for the text.
- Save this and then open the RTE and change the color for same text.
Root Cause
A third-party product issue: yui-editor.
Resolution
yui-editor generates spans differently for different browsers.
This does not have any impact on UI but when saving the values the values get saved differently in different browsers.
