Summary

- In a grid Proposition Description column is getting reset.
- All the date entries in Proposition data are resetting to 31-12-1969 Year.

Error Messages

No error messages

Steps to Reproduce

The behavior is sporadic in nature.

- Select a Proposition from the list of OOTB propositions in the landing page
- Open the Offer flow for the Proposition and update the date entry like "Start Date"
- Save the changes
- The description attribute of the Proposition will get reset though it was not modified and the date will be reset to 31-12-1969

Root Cause

The change in the description of the Proposition is a known behavior. It requires a major change in the NBAM framework as the Offer flow and Proposition are closely coupled. The change in date field behavior is not replicable when we update the Proposition from Offer flow in NBAM or from Proposition landing page, only replicable when updated the value by some other means (exa: from a data transform, importing data from xml or by excel)
<pxInsName>SR!ENDDATE</pxInsName>
<DateTimeValue>19691231T140000.000 GMT</DateTimeValue>
In XML Stream, once user set the empty value to the property, it doesn't matter whether it is optional or mandatory. if the value is set and is empty PRPC defaulting to the epoch date(31-12-1969) in the clipboard layer.

Resolution

Enclosed DSS entry was added to PRPC to avoid the date field getting updated to 31-12-1969
