PRPC63SP1[UI]Horizontal Scrollbar missing in Report Definition

SA-3179

Summary

There is no horizontal scrollbar in report definition in portal. (I have 71 fields in report) Scrollbar appears on window when I use run button in designer studio, but it is missing in portal. (using ie 8)

This issue occurs for report definition which has big amount of columns. We have only one report definition with such a big amount of columns (77).

Also horizontal scrollbar missed, when we ran report definition in designer studio, until we set column width in pixels for each column directly. In designer studio this issue resolved, but still occurs in portal.

We open report definition using shortcut in user portal.

it occurs for all users. ie8 is the only browser in project requirements.
We are not using IAC.

Error Messages

none

Steps to Reproduce

Enter portal, select reports tab, open shortcut of report definition, enter filter data.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is software use/operation error.

Resolution

The explanation for this behavior is as follows:
The problem was in css overriding in custom portal. A former developer set overflow-x property to hidden for Harness_Content id to avoid double scrollbars. Now the problem is solved
