Summary

During normal operation in performance test environment, batch nodes receive deadlock condition.

Deadlock message as seen in attached document.

Steps to Reproduce

Normal operation.

Root Cause

Known issue.  Fixed in Pega 7.1.8.

Resolution

A local change for Pega 7.1.7 to address the deadlock.Add this prconfig setting and then restart the server.

This may produce a NPE after the restart in the logs, but that can be ignored since they are nonfatal. Again those are addressed in Pega 7.1.8.

DSS: prconfig/compiler/classloadCompilerOutput/default

make sure  the below setting enabled.  Otherwise these DSS settings will not be honored.
