Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

Not Applicable

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment This table is created by the Defragmentation Daemon in order to groom the pr_syslocks table. If the database account used by the Pega platform is not allowed to drop the table it will be persisted to the database.

Resolution

In this instance there are two possible solutions:

Allow the database account to drop the table
Suppress the running of the daemon by setting this Dynamic System Setting.
Pega-RULES syslocks/defragEnabled false

This later reverts to pre Pega 7 behavior and the grooming and maintaining tables should be done by DBA operations staff.
