PSQLException: ERROR: canceling statement due to user request

SA-64602

Summary

When reindexing rules in Pega, indexing fails with an error.

Error Messages

Error in log while re-indexing:

[MSG][An error occured on executing the query for the report definition - There was a problem getting a list: code: 0 SQLState: 57014 Message: ERROR: canceling statement due to user request DatabaseException caused by prior exception: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: canceling statement due to user request | SQL Code: 0 | SQL State: 57014

Steps to Reproduce

Reindex the rules.

Root Cause

pegadata.pr_sys_queue_ftsindexer table contained approximately 10.4 million records. Hence, query execution took long and was canceled due to JVM timeout.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Truncate the pegadata.pr_sys_queue_ftsindexer table as it contained old indexing records (which are not required).
