pxOperatorImage control error when pxUIInspector removed

Summary



When removing the pxUIInspector privilege from the Access Roles in the application, unable to click the pxOperatorImage control to open the operator menu.


Error Messages

Error in the console:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'renderContextMenu' of undefined at pega.control.Actions.showMenu



Steps to Reproduce

  1. Remove the pxUIInspector privilege from the Access Role.
  2. Log in as the user that uses the Access Role.
  3. Click the pxOperatorImage menu. The menu does not open correctly.
  4. Open the Developer Tools.


Root Cause



A software use or operation error

The launch of the Menu action was configured on the Operator image control instead of the dynamic layout (as performed out-of-the-box).




Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment

Move the action of launching the Menu to the dynamic layout instead of the Operator image control.
