pxReqRemoteAddr property is null when login using a proxy server

SA-16376

Summary

The pxReqRemoteAddr property in the pxRequestor page is null when user logs in with a proxy server. This property is expected to have a value.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Log in using the proxy server.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error. This is the correct behavior.

Resolution

If the proxy server does not supply the remote address for the request, there is no way for Pega to set the value to anything other than null. There is no requirement for the proxy server to supply this address. Modify your proxy server configuration to address this.
