pxSessionTimer with Logoff Timer does not work after upgrade

Summary



After upgrading to Pega 7.1.7, pxSessionTimer and Logoff Timer usage does not work as expected. The Logoff Timer window displays, but on click of the "Okay" button (to extend the session) the modal window does not get fully removed. Also, the auto logoff does not work if the timer expires.

Steps to Reproduce



Upgrade to Pega 7.1.7 to observe the issue.

Root Cause



In an older release of PRPC the pyModalTemplate rule was copied and modified. The usage of the older version of the pyModalTemplate with Pega 7.1.7 caused the reported behaviour.

Resolution



This issue is resolved through the following Local-change:

Use the out-of-the-box Pega 7.1.7 version of pyModalTemplate.
