pyCaseWorker JS error after opening case/assignments in IE8

Summary
After installing HFix-20414, I get the below Javascript error when opening cases in the pyCaseWorker portal in IE8.
"Object doesn't support this property or method."

Steps to Reproduce
1. Install HFix- 20414.
2. Open any case in pyCaseWorker portal in IE8.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.
Resolution
This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFix-20581.
