'Re-Index' button grayed out on search landing page

Summary
After upgrading from PRPC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.8, Re-Index button on search landing page is grays out and a message is displayed.

Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the operating environment. This typically happens when indexing is initiated the and before it completes, the node is shutdown. Since Pega 7.1.8, an instance is created for Log-Cluster-FTSIndex class which persists to keep track of who initiated indexing, when and what happened with it.
This experience is enhanced in Pega 7.1.9 release where there is cancel button for this operation on the Search landing page.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local-change:
Use the pzResolveFTSIndexEntry activity to reset the status on the landing page if the locked message is displayed on the search landing page.
