Summary

‘Re-Open Work Item’ action on a menu item isn’t working. It works fine when configured on button.

Steps to Reproduce

Confirgure a menu with the action as below:



Configure the above on a button as well.

Test both configurations at run time.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Here is the issue, when we click the menu item nothing happens, root cause is that the Document Object Model (DOM) is not formed correctly as noted in the data-click attribute highlighted above.


whereas the same action on button has correct DOM.

Resolution

Apply HFix-30264.
