Recent reports do not refresh according to the current user role

Recent reports in the report browser do not refresh according to the current user role.

For example, when the user changes from a role with dashboard reports to one without, the dashboard reports remain in the recent reports despite the user no longer having access to them.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Manager portal.
  2. Launch the report browser and run some reports that are visible only to Leads (Lead - Role that have access to specific reports category).
  3. Change the role to a user (CC) with limited reporting options and launch the report browser again. The reports are shown under recent reports while it should not be shown.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

The recent reports changed according to the operator. However, the role changed when the same operator was logged in. In this scenario, the case operator was the same. Hence, the recent reports were not cleared even when the role changed.
