On refresh repeating layout is not getting displayed in IE10

Summary



On click of a button screen gets refreshed and a repeating layout gets displayed based upon a condition. This is working fine in IE8. But it is not working in IE9,IE10. There is an error coming up Script5022:DOM Exception: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR (5). Earlier for a similar error a Hfix was given to the client Hfix-8974 and they have installed it. For this scenario they are still getting this error.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Keep a visibility condition on a repeating layout.
2. On click of a button display the repeating layout.
3. In IE10 it is not working.


Root Cause



PRPC 6.3 SP1 doesn’t support IE10 – Standards Mode.

Standards mode is supported only from 7.1


Resolution



PRPC 6.3 SP1 doesn’t support IE10 – Standards Mode.

Standards mode is supported only from 7.1

IE10 and IE11 UI problems fixed by PRPC 5.x and PRPC 6.x hotfixes for IE5 Quirks mode emulation. Please refer to https://pdn.pega.com/documents/platform-support-guide-for-prpc (page#23)
