Repeating grid column values change after hyperlink is used

Summary



Repeating grid column values change after using a hyperlink. This occurs when using the Sort function.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Sort a column.
  2. Open a work item from a list.


Root Cause



The repeating grid was configured such that a column in it was referred from a page group which was invoked in a section. The column field included two click actions,
  1. RefreshThisSection
  2. Obj-Open-By-Handle
After sorting, the list contained new sorted values. When the column's work item was clicked, the list was refreshed due to the RefreshThisSection action and the new Obj-Open-By-Handle list was executed. Hence, the new work item opened.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Remove the RefreshThisSection action.
