Summary

A data page has two copies in two rulesets belonging to two applications respectively. The page is a thread level page having different functionality in these two rulesets. Operator has access to both the applications. A search facility uses the data page to retrieve the data. On logging in to the first application, the correct data page is loaded. On switching applications, an incorrect data page is loaded in the second application.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create two applications based on two rulesets
2. Create two copies of the same data page in two rulesets.
3. Switch applications at runtime.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. In the case where you have two data pages present in different rule set versions, only one was loaded in the requestor level cache.

Resolution

Install HFix-23932.
