Running a flow in the modal dialog displays a blank screen

SA-8600

Summary

Application Developer has a flow action in Work- class and its reference section is in Data- class.
A button is added in the section with an action to run a flow in modal dialog. The flow is in the same class as the section. But on click of the button in UI, a blank screen is displayed in the modal dialog with no flow action content.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

Add a button in the section to run a flow in modal dialog.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

Resolution

You as an Application Developer can use an alternate way (flow uses a 'Subprocess' shape to call the screen flow under Data- class) to run the flow in a modal dialog from Work- class to Data- class.
