Sample ICD10 codes do not contain required dot characters

Summary



Users do not see ICD10 codes in the format expected.

For example, instead of 'E00.1' they find 'E001' without the dot. This does not conform to industry standards, so user who are using the valid format are not finding the codes.

Note: Users are on the codes as mentioned on the 'icd10data.com' website.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In Care Management application, go to the consumer 360 and try to open the clinical tab and add mediation to the consumer.
  2. Do a search with code F43.0 (no results).
  3. Search with code F430 and get results.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: Sample ICD10 code data lacked the dot character information.

Resolution



Apply HFix-30701 then import the provided data file with the codes with the separating dot.
