Summary



Save action configured on the menu item does not work when clicked.


Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add a button in a section
  2. Configure the menu on click of the button
  3. In the menu, add the menu item and configure the save process on click the event


Root Cause



The menu configure generated the older Document Object Model (DOM) element structure. As a result, there was no action triggered on the click event. The DOM structure was in table format instead of <li> format.


Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Upgrade to Pega 7 platform Menus by navigating to Designer Studio > User Interface > Application Readiness > HTML5
