Screen is getting submitted when Excel file is uploaded

Summary
User is trying to use MSOFileTransferButtons control to upload excel file, read and save the data in Clipboard.
But when they click on "Upload" button on pop-window, the screen is showing up the activity success message. The activity is getting executed correctly, able to parse the data and store it in clipboard, but at the UI level, the perform harness is missed. This feature works fine in PRPC 6.2 and and it is not working in Pega 7.1.7.
Error Messages
Activity status good message is displayed.
Steps to Reproduce
1) Use Out-of-the-box (OOTB) MSOFileTransferButtons section.
2) Upload a Excel file and call Activity.
Root Cause
A software use or operation error : 'MSOFileTransferButtons' section is deprecated.
Resolution
Use the "FilePath" control to upload a file.
