Screen refreshes sporadically

Summary
The screen refreshes sporadically. After the refresh, request tabs close and the default view displays. Application is clustered (4 nodes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and 8 nodes PROD) and the load is balanced on Apache 2.4 (2 nodes UAT and 3 nodes PROD). After the refresh, the user is redirected to another Pega node.

Steps to Reproduce

Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. Session TimeOut limit was set to five minutes in the Load balancer. If the request was not sent to the connected server within the five minutes session, the session was terminated and the memory held by the open session was freed.
Resolution
Make the following change to the operating environment:- Maintain the requestor on the same node or session
- Remove the TimeOut to maintain the sticky sessions
