Summary

In Pega Marketing 7.13, when you try to use seed list functionality, nothing happens.

Error Messages

com.pega.pegarules.pub.generator.RuleNotFoundException: Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY' with the name 'GETMAPPEDCUSTOMERCLASSPROPERTIES' that applies to 'PegaMKT-Data-SeedList'. There were 1 rules with this name in the rulebase, but none matched this request. The 1 rules named 'GETMAPPEDCUSTOMERCLASSPROPERTIES' defined in the rulebase are:
1 unrelated to applies-to class 'PegaMKT-Data-SeedList', for example: 'PegaMKT-Data-Customer'

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to the Seed Lists landing page.
2. Click the Update Seed List Columns button on the landing page.

Note the page spins indefinitely and there is an error in the console.

Root Cause

Seed list base class was packaged with an incorrect directed parent and this was affecting the seed list functionality.

Resolution

Apply HFix-24233 in Pega Marketing 7.13 to overcome this issue.
