Summary

In non-visual mode, Properties for Segment and the relationships are entered manually. At the end of each row, there is a Select Values button that must return all distinct values of the Property. But, it returns nothing and an error occurs in tracer.

Error Messages

Failed to find a rule-obj-report definition with the name <name of segment> that applies to <customer class>

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Segment rule.
2. Switch to non-visual mode.
3. Enter a Property and Relationship.
4. Click the Select Values button.
5. No values will be returned despite every row in the database having a value for the Property.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: pzGetSelectValues does not handle cases where the report does not exist.

Resolution

Apply HFix-27521.
