SilverLight incompatible with chrome and MS-Office-2013

Summary
Unable to generate Word document using MS-Office-2013..
Error Messages
For Chrome-It asks for Silverlight installation.
For IE/Firefox-"SilverLight Control ERROR in 'sGetWordMacroDotPath': Microsoft Word version '15.0' is not supported."(While the system has Office-2013)
Steps to Reproduce
Using Pega sample flow "WordEmbedMergeTest" try to generate word document
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application code or rules
Resolution
Application Document Generation in 7.1.5 is supported only for 32 bit word
MS Office 2013 is 64 bit.Hence it is not supported for 7.1.5.From 7.1.7 it is supported
MS Office 2010 is supported in the prior versions.
