SOAP Service fails on rule check-in

SA-14775

Summary

Multiple SOAP Service Failed messages are generated in the log files on check-in.

Error Messages

Rule-Connect-SOAP.Embed-ProjectMgmt-WorkService-.pzGetPMFAssignments piyush - Exception
com.pega.pegarules.pub.services.ResourceUnavailableException: SOAP service failed

Steps to Reproduce

Check-in a rule.

Root Cause

A Product Management Framework SOAP call, pzGetPMFAssignments, is triggered when rules are checked-in. However, the application is not managed by the PMF framework. This is due to an incorrect configuration setting.

Resolution

In Pega 7 System Settings browser window > Project Management tab, the check boxes for Feedback, Preoject Tracking, and PMF Product should be unchecked for the RuleSets that are not using the Pegasystems Project Management Framework (PMF) product to track project management.
