Test Case rule does not reflect on Test Case tab on creating it

Summary



The Test Case rule does not reflect on the Test Case tab of the rule after adding the rule in the parent RuleSet. However, the rule reflects on adding it in the current application instead of the parent application.


Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add a Test Case RuleSet in the parent application instead of the child applications
  2. Create a Test Case rule in the child application
  3. Run the flow. The Test Case rule does not display in the Test Case tab of the parent rule
  4. Add the Test Case Rule in the child application
  5. Run the flow. The Test Case rule reflects in the Test Case tab of the parent rule


Root Cause



The check box which allows the access to the test cases from the built on application was unchecked.


Resolution

Perform the following local-change: 
  1. Navigate to Operator menu > Preferences
  2. Check the 'Include from built-on applications' check box
