There is nothing to import error



Import wizard throws an error.

Error Messages

After selecting the jar from the available files and upon clicking next button an error message like below is getting displayed on the screen:

There is nothing to import - the rules contained in this archive are already present in the database.

Steps to Reproduce

Import a jar file from Pega Developer portal.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment:

There was a gap between what the system scanner reports and the rules that are available in the DB. Some entries were missing in the DB. This suggests partially or incorrectly installed hotfixes. 


Apply DL-60717 with hotfix HFIX-27035 and Related Hotfix HFIX-25934.
