Top level Class name length limitation

SA-542

Summary

While creating a new Pega application in Pega 7 in DCO, the top level class name is forced to be less than 6 characters and users won't be able to use the desired name as our top level class.

Error Messages

** Provide a short name of no more than 6 characters.

Steps to Reproduce

Use the Application Express to create an Organization with a name greater than 6 characters.

Root Cause

This is a limitation imposed for best practices.

Resolution

This issue is resolved through the following local change:

Existing Orgs are not restricted the same way new ones are, so users could create an Org structure to match your 6.2 implementation, ensuring that the Top Level Class Name on the Data-Admin-Organization instance matches their class structure (CareFirst- in this case). Then users could reuse this existing organization as often as you wanted to in Pega 7 when building applications.
