Tracer does not pause



Tracer does not pause immediately after the pause button is clicked (it goes to the end of the execution stack).  The pause button works if only the open rule is traced.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select all of the event types and rulesets in Tracer so a large amount of data will be captured. 
  2. Trace opening a portal or processing a work object. 
  3. Try to pause Tracer.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.  The trace events were not processed asynchronously.
