Transfer assignment-Bulk Actions do not work with manual input



Unable to transfer an assignment, using Bulk Actions, on manually entering data in to the autocomplete control, after executing a task.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the Case Manager portal and navigate to Bulk Actions.
  2. Select Transfer Flow Action.
  3. Select the operator (for example, Manager), to transfer, from the dropdown and type the User manually.
  4. Click Submit and open the task.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Perform the below local-change:
  1. Run an activity on change of autocomplete value (before refresh section action).
  2. Check if the user name is valid and retrieve the operator ID corresponding to it and set it to reAssignPage.pyReassignOperator (this field is used internally for routing).
