TreeGrid control does not work in IE11 after Pega 7.1.7 upgrade

Summary
After upgrading from PRPC 5.5 to Pega 7.1.7, the Tree Grid control idles indefinitely in IE11 browser. An endless busy indicator is displayed on the screen.

Steps to Reproduce
Navigate to a section containing TreeGird control on IE11 to observe the issue.
Root Cause
TreeGrid and DataGrid controls are not supported in HTML5. Replace TreeGrid control with Tree Grid layout manually. Refer to the organization chart landing page and the corresponding OrgChart section rule in PRPC 6.3 SP1 and Pega 7.1 for details on converting a TreeGrid control to a Tree Grid layout.
Resolution
The use of TreeGrid control is deprecated. Use Tree Grid layout instead for HTML5 support.
