UI for Reports Unoptimal for IE 11 browser

Summary
User is facing browser compatibility issues while displaying reports in IE 11.
Custom Filter section fields not being properly aligned and Data grid columns for the Report Definition getting wrapped and merging into one other.
Error Messages
No Error Message.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Open the report on click of the link as a pop-up or in a modal window display.
2. Provide filtering through the Custom section filters.
3. The Report is loaded with Custom filter fields without proper alignment and grid column display text merging into each other.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior which resolved the issue:
Perform the following local-change:Save the pyMetaTags HTML fragment into the application RuleSet.
Add the following meta tag as the very first entry.
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
